Lessons Policy

Thank you for choosing South Coast Music Center for your musical journey. Our lesson program is designed to provide consistent instruction, reserved scheduling, and a supportive learning experience for students of all skill levels.

Enrollment & Monthly Tuition

Lesson enrollment is billed automatically on a recurring monthly basis using the payment method provided at checkout. Monthly tuition reserves your weekly lesson time and secures ongoing enrollment in our lesson program.

Upon enrollment, a member of our team will contact you to confirm your recurring lesson schedule and assign your weekly lesson time based on instructor availability and student goals.

Enrollment in monthly lessons is confirmed after a completed trial lesson. Once approved, our team will provide your personalized scheduling assignment.

Tuition is charged regardless of attendance and covers your reserved lesson time, instructor scheduling, and continued placement in the program.

Auto-Renewal Acknowledgement

Lesson enrollment automatically renews each month unless cancellation is requested according to the cancellation policy below. By enrolling, students acknowledge and authorize recurring monthly billing for their reserved lesson time.

Tuition is billed monthly on the date of enrollment and will automatically renew each month until canceled in accordance with our lesson policy.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or enrollment changes must be requested by email or phone at least one (1) week prior to the next monthly billing cycle to avoid additional charges.

Tuition payments are non-refundable once processed.

Missed Lessons & Make-Up Policy

We understand that schedules can change. If a student is unable to attend a lesson, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.

Missed lessons without advance notice may not qualify for a make-up lesson.

Make-up lessons are offered based on instructor availability and cannot be guaranteed. Repeated missed lessons may affect scheduling flexibility.

Holidays & Store Closures

Lesson schedules may be adjusted during holidays, instructor absences, or store closures.

When South Coast is closed for a scheduled holiday or instructor-approved absence, students will be notified in advance, and make-up arrangements or schedule adjustments will be coordinated whenever applicable.

Student Commitment & Lesson Environment

Consistent attendance and regular practice contribute greatly to musical progress. Students are encouraged to arrive prepared, on time, and with any necessary instruments or materials for their lesson.

Our goal is to maintain a welcoming, respectful, and encouraging environment for all students and instructors.

Thank you for being part of the South Coast music community. We look forward to making music together.
